For the record, I'd rather spend £20k on a decent car rather than a 2.0 clio, but you cannot argue with what's happened.

The fact that some of these trophy's have sold for £17/18/19k lately proves that people DO want them and are paying that amount.

A person who collects cars properly, will only add a car to their collection if it's identical to when it left the factory. That's the whole point of an appreciating collection.
