Lowered 60mm and looks same still, HELP ME?!

there are obviously more ways of measuring, but I wouldn't just rely on manufacturer's claims alone, as I said GAZ for example can't give a usable 60 mm drop on the front, and going beyond 60mm is also impossible (talking from my experience) In a non sport yes, a 60mm drop is more achievable but...

Lowered 60mm and looks same still, HELP ME?!

have you measured beneath the subframe before and after? that doesn't look like a 60 mm drop on the front tbh. GAZ said that their coilover kit which I have could go 60 or more mm lower but in real life if I tried to go 60 mm lower the car would be standing on the bump stops on the front...

Lowered 60mm and looks same still, HELP ME?!

I was mostly referring to what happens to the angle of the lower arms and the driveshafts if lowered that much. things like the roll center will be all over the place but maybe this stuff is not that important if not hammering it about in the corners or doin' track days Been searching a little...

Lowered 60mm and looks same still, HELP ME?!

the back is 25-30 mm lower at the most, that's not 60 mm lower! That being said why would you want it 60 mm lower? it's hugely low and it will ride and handle like crap! Mine for example is about 25-30mm lower in the front (measured not assumed) and even by this small amount I get occasional...

    what induction kit and remap?

there's a engine bay temperature test on the homepage made by a member here which shows that the coolest location for a open air filter is behind the passenger headlight like the K-tec induction setup. You may as well do a similar setup by yourself, a 70mm alloy 90 degree pipe and a cone open...

    Pure Motorsport Christmas Present

well if I was to get myself a present I would definitely go for the linkage. It's winter so you'll never notice the mounts and the brace(unless your mounts are totally knackered), but you'll for sure see the benefits of the linkage! C'mon, every CS owner wants a more precise gearshift right?

    Dephaser noise

dephaser question: with the cam belt removed when rotating the dephaser pulley by hand left-right it moves slightly in both directions, maybe 2mm(or less) in each direction or so. seen this happen when I did my cambelt change last week. Is it on it's way out or that's normal? I intend a cam...

    K&N Filter Oil on RAMAIR?

it would be advisable to use foam filter oil if you have a foam filter. I had a ITG panel filter and used some motorex foam filter oil on it and now I have a BMC which is cotton and BMC cotton filter oil for it and I've seen that the foam oil is stickier compared to the cotton one.

    Clio 182 RR

I just did the cambelt job few days ago, at a friends garage, but unfortunatelly we only had the horse-shoe cam tool and the crank locking pin. But the cam tool slotted in at the end of the job so it should be close to perfection. Couldn't tell the difference if the car pulls better after the...

    Exhaust hitting bumper surrounds

Ok so I suffer from the same thing (mine has a milltek but size wise it's about the same) but: I'm having full upgraded engine mounts including dog bone so nothing moves.. Also the rear exhaust mounts are loaded with black silicone and they're stiff as hell My opinion is that the way the...
