Found it handled better on standard springs imo. Realised this after a trackday on the standard setup then fitting mf springs and rear koni shocks.

Slightly lower than sportlines but not by much. They make the ride a bit more forgiving and less body roll too. I preferred the standard springs though tbh.

Yeah decat is a must.

Yeah standard is supposedly good for around 280/290 as is the turbo in some cases but that's it's very limit.

Speak to Paul at RS Tuning mate. I had standard size Wossner pistons that I was going to fit when my car was down with him getting forged rods fitted but he advised getting the crank balanced too. Unfortunately I didn't have the funds to do this so sold this pistons on and just had the rods fitted.

Cheaper picking up a new engine for it if you want to. Can't see the ca being for a lot as a whole so could also be worth getting another.

No doubt about that. I lost 1k in about 6 months on my trophy when I sold it.

182 ff is better value for money. Trophy is over rated imo. Suspension is to firm for day to day on our roads I found too. Parts bin special. They are not holding value well at all either.

I would go for a ff 182 and my last car was a Trophy.
