Not really its more common than you think. My ph1 has bubbles of rust appearing on the rear arch and that was far from neglected. It's only surface rust so nothing serious.
Compared to paying for a new standard item every 6 months or so. It works out cheaper to buy the prima one in the long run. I've got 2 fitted to my trophy and they are brilliant.
Mechanically it's spot on. I've just replaced all 4 shocks with brand new genuine items along with new top mounts and genuine springs. Also fitted new genuine engine mounts and a powerflex dogbone mount and standard exhaust. It's going into a local Renault specialist to have the belts + pulleys...
