    Had the same problem. You need to try and grip the lower parts with a pair of pliers or grips and then tighten it.

    As mentioned above I also had Eibach sportline springs and a Whiteline arb along with brand new 172 cup shocks on my ph1 172 and it was an excellent setup for the road. Sold it before I got the chance to try it out on track which I was disappointed about.

    They lower about 15-20 mm. Postive effects handling wise a lot let body roll. Better off sourcing the yourself they come up for sale on here often or you could buy a new set from the likes of Kam racing.

    Sounds like they are pointing too high and not angled down down to the road.

    Hammerite will do the job paint wise. Give them a good scrub with a wire brush too.

    Yep fits between them mate. I recommend spraying wd40 on the rubber gator to slide it on, it was a pain in the arse when I done it.

    Track rod ends & ball joints can be bought from a motor factors I recommend lemforder. The rest you get from renault. Shocks are around £50 each and wishbones are around the same price too and will come with ball joints so you won't need to get them separate infact. You could go for powerflex...

    Track rods, track rod ends, ball joints, wishbone bushes, anti roll bar bushes & new or shocks. All that should make it feel brand new.
