Wouldn't be a nightmare getting the rivets out you can just drill them out with a pilot bit. Better using self tappers though as they are easier to put in and just as solid as rivets if you screw enough in.

Would they last as long as paradas chip? Seeing as they are a more track focused tyre and vice versa with the paradas.

I think they are a great dry day tyre. I swapped my T1-R proxes for the paradas I had on my Williams. Only downside is the soft sidewalls but it all adds to the fun I suppose.
