Yes and no. Getting bored of the power now and it annoys me that there are no cheap ways to extract more power from these engines handling wise it's a hoon after I fitted new 172 cup shocks and sportline springs.

Did you get that done in Livingston by any chance? If so I stay 2 mins away from the guy that you used he's pretty good.

John is brilliant cost me £65 all in as I needed Eibach camber bolts it took him about 1 1/2 hours but the results are brilliant really can't recommend him enough.

Yeah I had my tracking done when I put sportlines on mine. Got it done at Progrip in larbert.

DS2500 seem to be highly recommended on here and just standard rear pads and discs are sufficient enough.

I have Sportlines on new shocks. I know they are different springs but I dont think they are vastly different but the ride is really not much different from standard.

They made a very noticable difference on my 172.

172 cup shocks are stiffer yes. I fitted cup shocks all round with sportline springs on my ph1 172 at the weekend and the handling is excellent.

Nah strut was still on the car panic over now though got all the new 172 cup shocks fitted handles brilliant now.
