I have a similar on my car with the wheels on the car being 205/45 16" and my spare being 195/50 15" And the spare is uni directional.
I had to last 3 days with the spare rotating the wrong way round when one of my wheels was in for repairs.
Provided I drive faster than about 80kph or corner...
A while ago I posted that in 3rd I was reaching 150kph (93mph) @ 7000 rpm which seemed a tad high. I tested this a few times on the same night to make sure.
I was out last night and thought Id give the car a bit of a blast. To my suprise:
1st - hit the limiter just over 60kph (37mph)
2nd...
So if I remove the spare wheel, the engine cover and the rear headrests (mine doesnt have HID headlights, Rain sensing wipers, auto lights or traction/ESP system) will that make my car a 172 Mug since it will be almost as light as the Cup (and its blue too);)

Climate control (option)
ABS Brakes
Sound deadening

in the 172 this band is rather narrow (only 850rpm) and falls between 5400rpm (peak torque) and 6250rpm (peak power)
one side affect of this narrow...
UPDATE!!!
"Optimum Gear Change Indicator" = 2nd little red dot below the 7 on the Rev Counter. ie, when the needle touches this you better change NOW or youre going to lose the race
Anyone have any idea which engine theyre going to be using and will it fit directly into a 172...or do we just need to change the 172 head to a megane RS head?
A 172 Cup with no Cups...Id send it back to the dealer to have them fitted along with the badges on the door pillars and the front splitter...but wouldnt that now be adding Weight to the car which is against the point of the Cup entirely...Just put a paper Cup into your cup...should really help...
