Hehe, we got some here. Live in a very very very hilly area. it was a serious struggle to get the car out of 1st and into second before i lost all momentum.

Hahaha, you think 45 in third was bad. Coming back from a diving trip with myself anf one passanger, the back seat piled high with luggage and the boot filled with diving equipment, weight belts and cylinders...everything! Couldnt get into third going up a 25 degree hill and Ive got a 1.4...

Ive been looking at the gear ratios between the Clio 1.6 16V and the Clio 1.4 16V and the gearing ratios are the same except for the final drive ratio. Does this mean I could drop a 1.6 lump into my car no problems and no changes to the gearbox. Exactly what does the final drive ratio...

sl*gGat, Let us know what radio and adapter youre getting cos Ive been thinking about an upgrade in that dept but dont wanna lose the display or the stalk control

Also from JHB. Yep, i know its easy to find stuff on the web, but locally, Renault is not well supported...I even inquired at SAC (www.steves.co.za) about getting a suspension upgrade and they tried to send me to some place in boksburg.

What emulator is that...wouldnt mind giving it a go

Hi smileysport, I see youre facing the same predicament as I am...cannot find any decent after market stuff for the Clio.

Firstly, I took a tight corner last night at a bit of speed (you know, tyre squealching stuff) and with the road not being smooth the suspension was given a bit of a work out, needless to say there was a knocking sound coming from the wheel areas...is this normal or should I get it checked out...
