    best tyres

PE2s rule. Have much more grip than the contis and are almost as good in the wet as they are in the dry. I would have the GSD3s or PE2s.

    New 182 better than a type r

Having driven both, i felt more a part of the clio than just along for the ride of the CTR. Both were excellent test drives, with the dealers advising me to try them out under what i would call normal use. Both went well, both handled brilliantly, but the clio felt more involving.

    Removing trim on a 172

How big is 4g in mms?
  10. blink172

    Removing trim on a 172

Yeah, pushed it under the trim (think it may have been my old car that was bolted) using a wire coat hanger to direct it. No wires are exposed and wasnt to difficult to do. One of the easiest cars ive ever had to wire. Changing the front speakers is a different matter.....

    Removing trim on a 172

I didnt take off the trim just threaded it through, around the bolt and ran it under the seat. Much easier than taking off the rear quarters....

Where did this little explosion come from? We were discussing the trophy, not car review programs [Edited by blink172 on 02 June 2005 at 1:28pm] Ok, just spotted the 1 line hidden joke in the quotes above. lets not start that again......pleaseeeeeeeeee

    New car!

Everyones point, Its not going to be subtle. Like most, i prefer smoother looking cars than the fully kitted cars. Each to their own though, who am i to comment on what you find tasteful and well done for being confident enough to do it.

    What is this

May as well take the back seats out while you there with the spanners, its all just extra weight you dont need

    182 Trophy....

Nah, the williams is treasured because it was a massive step forward in hot hatches and still lives upto the label. The trophy is another Ltd Edition, that will be rare but wont have school kids putting its picture up on bedroom walls

    im puzzeled

Depends on where you are, but phone about and dont accept the first quote given. Costs can vary from £160-300, so call a few places or if your not bothered about having FRSH buy the renault approved parts and get a local place to do it. It ownt invalidate the warranty, but it will only then have...

You have to get it done to keep the warranty in place. Think of it as pampering the little thing

    Optimax/unleaded av. price difference

Optimax defo gives better Mpg over the others. Used that tesco redbull stuff and its really does go better, but the MPG dropped like a stone. Ill be sticking to optimax as i cant the tesco stuff round here. Plus it runs smoother on the higher octane stuff, 97/95 is as lumpy as Vanessa Feltss...
