I've found that with my straight through centre section and decat system, 95ron fuel will pop an average amount whereas optimax won't pop that much at all. Anyone else found that?

I've blown this relay/fuse so the ignition lights don't come on now and the car won't start. I can hear the fuel pump arm though. I've replaced the two under the bonnet for transmission but it made no difference. Please help!

dave i assume your dash loom has the blue connector for the oil dials but they won't do anything apart from look pretty? Just put a valver top dash and oil dials in mine and apart from light up when necessary, they don't do squat.

So are you saying that it was so difficult that you would pay £200 ish quid to have a garage do it if you had to do it again?

Is this possible? I.e. can i just disconnect the top hose and thermostat housing without losing massive amounts of coolant. Obviously i will rebleed the system afterwards but if the coolant loss is minimal i won't bother draining the entire lot through the bottom hose. Thanks for any advice.

What is the correct way to go about removing the old wheel and its corresponding airbag then refitting with a new one? This is for a mk1 phase 3. Does the battery have to be disconnected? What danger is there of the canister going off while i am working on it? Any advice appriciated.

I'm looking to get some metal braided brake hoses for my RT. At the moment i use valver discs, pads and calipers but still use the old RT brake hoses. The only braided hose kits i can find are for the 16v/williams so are there any differences between the hoses used on the valver to the hoses...

Next time you do this, upgrade the calipers so you can use valver discs. The increase in braking performance is amazing. Best mechanical upgrade to 1.2/1.4 mk1's imo.

Alot of people who do this conversion to their valvers keep their exhaust manifolds i believe..
