People will realise before long that it's pointless buying one on miles. I bought a 'high mileage' one because it had been looked after. Didn't look like it had covered 35 miles, let alone 35,000.
Yeah, she's been bitching since we got together that the one thing she's regretted not getting out of her ex's house was her food processor - so that's what she's had. Although I doubt she's expecting it!
Running around like a goon trying to get pictures, and get the stuff out the car and wrapped (whilst it's *ucking freezing) before the bird gets home. If I wanted to make a gallery of it, I'd stick it in Photography and maybe clean it.

Nothing major like Waitey's Trevor incident, however a few slides and a couple of issues getting moving! And a full on Christmas shop! Who said that Vees aren't practical?!
Bit s**t up now, mind!
Several sources have said that leaving an engine idling causes twice or even three times the wear that an engine under load normally experiences (within reason! Bouncing it off the limiter will donald duck it as well!) because the engine is designed to be loaded. The way it was explained to me...
It's not, but it's the cheapest car to nearly fit all the bills of a supercar by a long stretch!
Nowhere to put anything - check.
Engine in the boot - check.
RWD - check.
Stunning - check.
Good noice - check.
Only let down by it's performance to be fair! Which yes is miles off supercar...
Re: 20 3 years experience no no claims no one will touch me who are you all insured w
Can I just point out the idiocy of buying a heavily modified Clio and then trying to work out what insurance will be on your own policy (IE not an illegally fronted policy!)?
Very, very lucky to get anything other than a Dell off PC World's shelf in time for Christmas. They're built to order largely, as has been said, and delivery times depend on what they're building at the time. Also, don't count on the estimate...
Ditto. I got rid of a stonkingly quick and awesome sounding Lotus for the Vee, and haven't looked back. The Lotus was difficult to live with, difficult to drive fast on the roads and unpredictable at best in the wet.
At least the Vee is only difficult to live with and unpredictable in the...
Swap the inputs around - eliminate dodgy port. Also try using the Sky lead to the PS3 etc, try get the problem to follow something. Suspect you're going to have to rule it as the PS3 or TV though, which will be difficult unless you've got a spare set or PS3 about!

Pretty picture, can get proper ones if it's of interest. Will come fully built, with restore media and ready to go with whoever's name on it all you like.
I've got a corker for sale, £400 with Windows 7 Ultimate and Office 2007 Professional Plus. I'm an IT geek, was the best I could get for a grand only 6 months ago and I just don't use it now work give me free ones, so it's going fairly cheap as it's for a good cause!
And if you need convincing of the noise...

The three months so far haven't been particularly cheap, but the majority of it is me wanting to get stuff done and out of the way. ~£5k now I've had the bill from Fred!
This. Speak to theduck/the little guy at the WM meet (sorry!) or theduck's Mrs - it is quick (deceptively so) but not groundbreaking, it's the whole package - the noise, the ride, the being pushed rather than dragged everywhere... Just an undescribable feeling! IMO anyway. There are people...
Ah, not particularly close to Warwick or Bourne End then - how bad a journey is Bourne End/Marlow? As I can find many an excuse to pop there in it if you wanted a shot in one first.
1 - Oh yes. At 24 in a nice area I'm on the sharp end of an £800 bill.
2 - It's not too bad - stop thinking of it as a Clio and more as a £30k supercar. Whilst it's pace isn't as good as a 'true' supercar, it's epic fun.
3 - Oh yes. Belt service is twice as much as the 2 litre, tyres are £200 a...
