I bought some Nankang SN-2 from mytyres and had them fitted on Monday (last week) everything was ok riding round the street roads. But I was on the motorway and I turned left then right very quick and the car seamed to wobble for a bit afterwards, it felt as if the sidewalls were moving. But my...
I've just been quoted £15 per tyre, + VAT from North Eastern Tyres and Exhausts and I think thats far too expensive, I was expecting about £11 per tyre!!
Does anyone know of any cheap tyre fitters in the Middlesbrough area. I had some fitted by Formula1 (http://www.f1autocentres.co.uk) and...
Well everything is fine now, sorry fot not updating this thread for a while the damage cost the insurance £3,500 to get the car fixed, I had my bonnet re-spayed. New front bumper and grill, new exhaust, new rear bumper and number plate, and my bonnet straightened and then resprayed!! :)
All...
I fitted it but its bodged, I used the basic audio cable from the battery to the horn, its got a 20amp fuse fitted inline also. The Air horn is much better than the previous horn.
OK, will I need a fuse, as it has a picture of a wire coming of the block connection with one wire going to the left hand pin from the steering wheel, then a wire from the top connection to the top positive terminal on the mini compressor. The on the left hand connection goes to earth, then the...
yeah, but i've not put them next to the old horns yet, I had a look yesterday to see if i could fix the horn I have not but it was knackered. I think it might just look small, if they fit on your clio then I should have no problems really.
ok thanks alot mate. It looks like they might be too long, did he have to cut away anything or did they just fit on the original connections.
Thanks again
The instructions for my Ring "Air Horn" say I have to determine the circuit of my horn, it says it will either be a "Horn Button Connected To Positive" OR "Ground Horn Button"
What type of horn circuit is the clio 182s?
Thanks in advance, and is this Ring "Air Horn" I just bought from...
Re: Horns!!!
My horn is kanckered.
I looked at it today and I need a new one, I swapped over power cables onto the fucked one and it didn't work. I might get a air horn are these any good...
where about is the horn located, as this will save me looking in the boot lol. I know on my clio 1.2 it was in front of the wheel arch cover on the passenger side front wheel. I guess it should still be in the same place.
My two tone horn is now a one tone horn (high pitch) so it sounds gay. Is it easy to change, how long will it take and do you think it may be blocked or full water.
Thanks in advance.
well my cars been fixed now and a fantastic job they have done!!
I will probably try my Insurance next time, just to see what the difference, BUT hopefully there won't be a next time.
My car is all fixed now :)
New reg plates, new grill at the front, fixed bonnet and fixed the boot. Also a complete new exhaust and cat converter. I'm very happy now :)
Just had it estimated due to a van hitting be from behind. They also estimated the cost of repair to be £3,280. Its only a 54 plate, 3 years old with 60,000 miles on. Thats a steep depreceation isn't it!!!
I was told to go through a solicitors instead of going through my insurance company (elephant.co.uk). I rang them up and they said I don't need to ring my insurance people as they will do everything. They will get my car repaired with a courtesy car and they will get me some personal injury...
