Think these Vtec Mini's really do define what quick is. There are a few kicking about in Northampton, most built by a friend of mine. He has a stealthy black one and last time I see him on the road, he was pushing a TVR Chimera out of the fast lane........I would have payed to see the TVR owners...

Probably has straight cut gears in the diff too to be that loud. Really can't beat the sound of a sccr box. My mini had S/C drop gear too and was about as hardcore as i'd ever want anything on the road......though I'm still swaying to the idea of a SADEV in my vee. lol

Was a very good morning. I left Northampton at half 5 this morning to get there nice and early. Some of the 911's there were lovely with some very rare examples. My fovorites were the UR Quottro's and the Type R powered Mini.

Don't blame you fella. The road leading towards Sixfeilds over the canal and river is stupidy slippy. The back end of the vee squirms side to side up there even at part throttle. Needs bloody relaying much like 99.9% of all Northampton roads. lol

The colour is a standard Renault paint code called Nocturne. Im only aware of 1 other V6's in it which is the ph1 V6 used at the first motor show unveiling. The lights on the silver car are stock ph1 lights.

Answer A) Thats a 4 rotor rotary engine based on Mazda parts. OEM engines were fitted with either 2 or 3 rotors as well as turbo charger. I'm pretty sure that particular car is campaigned in the U.S Time Attack Seires. B) This is a tuned naturally aspirated one which means its making stupid...

I had an S70 before my vee and I still maintain it sounded better than the big engined clio. Its about time somebody does this with a Focus RS and with the addition of a Volvo S60/V70R gearbox and rear running gear. That would be pretty damn cool and show that fwd will never beat 4wd lol.
