Love it mate, surprising how much better the number plates make it look! You managed to get the headlight fixed yet and the other battle scars from the golf!? lol
A booster seat should do the job. I must admit I do park in those spaces from time to time, especially at Mc Donalds. Like others though I normally park miles away from anyone else in an end space leaving loads of room, or over 2 spaces.
Why, are you getting a 3/4 size plate? If not I wouldn't worry about it if I was you, just use it to negotiate a lower price. If you do have it done though don't go using screws to put the plate back on!
^ All worked out well then.
Saner. Hmm, not noticed any rubbing on mine. Where abouts in the arch? I'll have to keep an eye on this. How do the tyres hold up with the rubbing? You know what the original offset is and are the Turinis 38.5 iirc?
I like it mate, reposition it a tad lower so it's centred and get some pics from further back. If you're still unsure then, I'd get the standard font one.
Do it!! I'd go full fat though if it was me...
Sell privately if you can as they'll rape you with what they offer. Especially as they now know how much you want an RS as soon as poss.
I thought the 45 etc was a ratio/percentage in relation to the width or something? Sure I remember reading that somewhere? I had always previously thought it was like ozzyo said. Seems to make more sense that way. Either way though 55 will be too big of a profile.
Yeah you can do it on your own with a socket set and some good strength! lol. Shouldn't be paying anymore than £50-£60 tops for a garage to fit them. Do it yourself, it's more fun and rewarding! lol. Just make sure you spray loads of wd40 on the bolts 24hrs before. There's some good guides on...
Didn't know you had spacers saner, that coz of the 215's? What problems were you having? Mine have been fine, only place they have rubbed is the passenger side rear inner arch liner, by the exhaust, I just cut it away to stop it.
Yeah just sounds like a bit of tramlining, hold the wheel a bit tighter you girl! lol ;)
Mine was similar going from 175 tyres to 215's. Soon get used to it, don't notice it any more, and it will improve the handling, mine did. Did comewith good tyres though (eagle f1) Get throwing it into...
I bought one and fit it today. I'll let you know what I think of my extra 20bhp tomorrow, can't wait to have a good drive...Couldn't turn down so much more power for £5!!
EDIT, just had a go and the car broke down, bad banging noise from engine then died, lots of smoke. Not sure if it was down...
Nightmare mate, know just how it feels, happend to me a couple of times and also my mum and dads car too. Disgusting. If she works at a big company though is there not cctv on the car park. Should be able to get hold of the footage of the day in question and find the culprit.
Good work mate. Decent market for women or young new drivers after a first car and not knowing much about cars and not wanting to wait to find the right one at the right price.
Don't know about the olde stylee black and silver ones but my 3/4 at the front is fine. Never been stopped/pulled or even looked at twice and drove past/towards numerous police cars on quiet roads.
Hi mate, welcome to cliosport.
Under 6k with low milage on an 02 plate seems a pretty good deal. Assuming it's all good I'd definately say go for it. First thing to do though would be to sell the 18's and buy some good wheels on which the car will handle well! lol 15's or 16's maximum for...
Looks good, nice and clean mate. For the calipers I'd say Silver or black but if your wanting them to stand out more I think yellow will look good.
If you're after Ideas I'd recommend Lowering it, at least 40mm coz it's looking fairly high there. For something cheao and easy, Silvervision or...
