Just because the biting point is high it doesn't necessarily mean the clutch is kaput. Clios just seem to have high biting points.

Swap the wheel for 15s IMO and get it lowered! Type in proper english too.

Ph3 engine has a revised intake but still 75bhp yeah. Why not get say an 03 plate ph2 with 50k on the clock. Pick it up for 3400, sell on just before cambelt. This way you have less money in the car = less depreciation in absolute terms. Sam

IIRC only 04 plates came with the ph3 engines though.

They were 04 plates Rob. The engine is also slightly revised and the interior dials a little different. Also come with CC'd back spoiler, silver handbrake button, interior handles and gear knob. For a 54 plate 1.2 with say 25k on the clock you are looking at around 4500-4700. Cambelts are...

It sounds obvious but check the wheel bolts are all tight.

195/50/15 is cheaper. What alloys do you have? Don't get 195/45/15 as this will seriously limit your top speed. Mine is already limited by the rev limiter and I only have 195/45/15. Sam

Can oil actually make the car perform better in the long run? Surely older oil is thinner so gets around the system easier?
