I sleep with the mods ;)
I would love a road trip but not to Newcastle, the people scare me :S
Are you up for a mini meet with AlexS in the next couple of weeks?
Sam
172 cup in Mondial Blue is by far the best normal RS clio.
I don't like the 182 cup wheels, I think they look like toy wheels; likewise with the exhausts on the 182.
I am not sure this is true.
15s are lighter and you need a fair bit of give in the side wall to get the best start and to reduce wheel spin.
Unless you have different width tyres fitted?
I think the problem is the cover has been taken off by the previous owner?
Can I just dry it with a hair dryer? I don't have an air compressor or electrical cleaner...
Can I just tape up the connection as realistically I am not going to want to disconnect it on a regular basis...
Thanks
Sam
Hello,
I seem to have a problem with water getting in between some electrical connection in the engine.
A couple of months ago the electrical light came on whilst on the motorway in the wet. The power went and I believe it went into "limp mode".
I took it to Renault as it would only start...
I suggest you look at Rolling Road graphs.
From the factory most power is produced at 5500 rpm and with mods max power will be higher up in the rev range.
Tbh there isn't a journey where I don't rev mine to 6100 and my car seems to be fine.
IainC yours could be a bent ball joint that is causing positive camber. This would explain the excessive wearing on the shoulder.
But as for you OP it does sound like the steering rack is a bit fooked.
If you do it yourself you are looking at about 4-5 hours, and it isn't hard just awkward...
