Not sure you could do it as you'd need the immobiliser transponder from the key unless you removed the immobiliser in full if it is at all possible.

As a straight line tool and track weapon, I can imagine a 230-260bhp Clio being very handy. As a day to day tool, an intentionally fast car eg. M3, Evo will be a much better package but with 2-3x the initial cost.

Brute force. They have splines around the ends to locate into the cage. Just pull, wiggle and twist with some force.

Think it limits rpm to about 4k in 1st. Try a launch with the clutch down then release the clutch. If the revs are holding at 4k you've got it.

I stripped my interior and removed the cigarette lighter. I'm now going to remove the airbag wiring from the dash loom but don't want to remove the cigarette lighter which is nearby. Has anyone got a picture of the connector?

It'll look just like the DTM Clio Ralf Schumacher used to drive. I wouldn't bother mate. You're starting with a dud which will only cost you more in the end. Move it on and buy a Clio specific exhaust.

I have fitted a Cup blower to my climate phase 2 172 but found it doesn't work due differing wiring. I also have a Cup engine loom to fit as I'm removing the ABS which I'm guessing will then have the Cup spec connections for the blower. Will the blower then work with the Cup loom fitted as...

It can but I don't want the mass of wires, impact sensors or ecu so am going to unpick them from the loom and cover the lights I think.

On the vein of if it's not there, it can't be checked, it looks to me like I should just remove the offending lights and live with the fact that the SERV light will be permanently hidden.

An RSTuner could fit the bill. They're primarily good used for re-maps but are also very good for diagnostics etc.

You need to buy it first. It's not a physical module, it accesses the airbag module so you can turn off airbag lights etc.

Do you cover Clio's now Neil? You didn't when I rang in May.

This is what I'm working around. Going to rig the need lights up to the oil pressure lights so they sequence properly then disable the others.

I'm removing using a Cup master cylinder and new brake lines. Already checked with my MOT guy and he said if its removed properly, it won't fail.
