get a straight though pipe. flames coming out the exhaust is cool lol.
rev to over 4.5k let off the accelerator. then blip the throttle. bang bang bang hehehe. does it for ages.
Yeah, I had a clutch, cable then pedal lol. Its ok now!
The pedals wear on the mechanism and mine was only just engaging the clutch if u pushed the pedal really hard to the floor. ok after a new pedal.
I never have no trouble with renault mate. Thats cos I never go there for any work done lol. Only go there if I need a part then either fit it myself or get a mate to do it for me.
When you buy a renault with full renault service history is that a good thing? lol Probably not hehe.
Still a 2 litre is the best way of gettin power in the end. Just a straight swap. No messin about with anything.
Id rather have that low down torque. 16vs are fine once you get going but find its hard to accelerate up hills. like say if you turn up a hill from a junction and you wanna...
Yeah. the 2 litre has a different crank that makes it not rev so high.
Still a chip should squeeze another 400rpm out of it. Not much more there. 6900RPM aint bad though really. Although a valver can rev nearer 8. More if serious work done.
Only downside with a 2 litre.
Ben what you got...
I broke the base on mine doing it, got one off citroen.
Best thing to do is undo the bolt and disconnect it inside. get an ariel of a 206 cc in the street hehe
Cool hehe.
I just looked for one as low mileage as possible. Mine had 60k on a 93K plate and fsh so that was the main thing. PLus the factory leather was a nice bonus.
I had trouble findin a low mileage one at the time when i was lookin though. Lot of phase 2s with high miles.
yeah mate thats me.
Car does look good in the colour its in. But Im gettin the engine out soon for a bit of a project and sports blue is such a hard colour to keep lookin good. I think monaco might be a bit better as its a bit lighter. Is it?
Just my bonnets gettin chipped a bit and have...
I do like the colour of mine. But think I prefer monaco blue. Dont think it shows up imperfections as easy too.
Seen your car wongy. Looks f**kin ace mate.
My car is virtually a phase 2 now anyway. even got the boot on it. only difference will be the petrol cap. So wont look out of place...
