Yeah, I had a clutch, cable then pedal lol. Its ok now! The pedals wear on the mechanism and mine was only just engaging the clutch if u pushed the pedal really hard to the floor. ok after a new pedal.

Yeah. the 2 litre has a different crank that makes it not rev so high. Still a chip should squeeze another 400rpm out of it. Not much more there. 6900RPM aint bad though really. Although a valver can rev nearer 8. More if serious work done. Only downside with a 2 litre. Ben what you got...

Cool hehe. I just looked for one as low mileage as possible. Mine had 60k on a 93K plate and fsh so that was the main thing. PLus the factory leather was a nice bonus. I had trouble findin a low mileage one at the time when i was lookin though. Lot of phase 2s with high miles.

172s are common too round here. Even seeing quite a few cups around lately. see about 3 172s a day and 1 or 2 cups.
