I reckon a williams could be lighter as the weight they state could be for the willy 1. no sunroof, ABS etc. The 16v weight could be the maximum, with sunroof and abs 990kg The willy engine aint gonna be heavier really. Its pretty much the same block. maybe a couple of kilos.

Think itll be 449 sports blue mate. Sure on the touchup I got it was called Cobolt blue or something. Dont think the 19 16v was available in any other colour apart from this.

Wet Rubber Knob eh hehe. It looks like its def coming from the bonnet pull thing. Its probably a rubber grommit around the cable thats worked loose or perished cos the bonnets open so much on them 172s with em going wrong so often ;). The 172s dont have opening back windows to save costs...

Well My engine and box will only be up for about £500 with the ecu and loom mate. If you wanna take the lot, you could get £350 for the engine and ecu on its own im sure. The engines only done 70k and is sweet.

Might mock push rod engines but look at a 5 turbo. They are an ancient design really. Can still get the power out of em! Even if they do go wrong like every 5 minutes hehe.

The aint that great. I know a lot of people who have had fiesta turbos and Escort turbos. Nothing but trouble when they get to like 10 years old. The series 1 escort turbo is meant to be a lot better than the later ones. Ford cut costs and made the engine a bit of a cheapie. Not as strong.

I might be sellin my engine in a few weeks mate if you can wait. Will have the box on it. done 70k and gearbox is like new still. A Reanault 19 one has different ratios i think. might be wrong though.

the catches that the window fits into on the runner gets brittle with age. mine broke when i took the windows out to tint them.

Yeah its steep I guess, But when parts are made in small batches they are expensive. They are gonna be stong metal too. Cant just use any old bolt, they are shaped in a particular way. Only thing you could do is copy them lol. Not easy really.

think they are about the same. I got mine about 2 years ago at halfords for £59.99 I think it was. they were reduced from £79.99 at the time. JUst a yellow one though. Do a search on the net mate. You only want the smallest like, so its the cheapest. Think they are £80 ish still tho.

I dunno if the match is spot on, when i compared with one of the unpainted it was a fair bit different. COuld be that the oold ones were faded tho.

I use comma 10w 40, change every 3k. is pretty good i reckon.
