Lol yeah i know, i'm not saying every pm is that way but some guy put a question he had asked up in a thread and it was the exact same question i got!, i'm sure he's a nice guy but life is full of choices and i find it's better if you make your own at least some of the time ;)
I've nothing against the guy tbh but it's a bit of an insult when someone sends you a pm with a question and you take the time to answer then find out that the pm was sent as a mass pm to loads of others too!!!!!!, i mean come on, how many answers to one question do you need?........just type...
Re: RB182 Diary
Nice one Mike, where did you get the pads from if you don't mind me asking?, after that run we did last sunday i'm starting to think i really need to do mine, not a nice feeling when you need the brakes and it's spongy as hell :(
Hi there :) welcome to CS
I have your checklist for you:
1. buy a 182
2. attend west yorkshire meets.
3. have fun (keeping within the speed limits of course :o)
thats about it really.....worked for me :D
Ahhh i wondered why we hadn't heard from you matt :), hope you had a good holiday mate ?
Yeah nice to meet you too carl, some of those roads were epic.....especially the one with the long straight dip ;)
Just a shame the weather in the morning wasn't as good as in the afternoon :(
Quite the opposite with mine, i changed from a standard to a custom zorstec system and lost power.......sod it, i paid for it so i'm keeping it :)....sounds great though ;)
Nice pics, can't tell it was raining at all ;)
You wouldn't believe it but the sun was beating down for me and Mike when we left you and headed to grassington, we got stuck behind some really slow vehicles too on the way to pately bridge but after getting round them it was a cracking drive out...
I'll be there Mike :), less chance of losing people if there is only the four of us, if we end up going to colne as planned then afterwards i might tour over to grassington then pately bridge and back to leeds bradford airport if anyone is up for that too :)
I'm with you on this Mike, just fancy the drive out, if no decision is made for definate either way then i'm happy to turn up at take it from there.
Have any pm's gone out for this meet ?, might still get a little interest over the next next couple of days :)
Yeah i'm up for that Mike, i don't know any drives over that way much but if you have any good idea's i'm in..........i still really fancy doing the buttertubs sometime but the weather isn't looking great for sunday at the moment :(
Looks good to me, handy for jumping back on the A64 too after that, i'm in for the extended route :)
By the way is this some sort of open race track then?
Still looking out for the meet details myself but i'm sure the guy will set it up soon, iirc the guy mentioned going over to scarborough and then up whitby instead of doing the north york moors, still be good though :)
And i'd love a ride in the R26 if the offer is there at the time buddy...
Would like to see this piece of kit in action :)
As far as i know someone is trying to set up a similar run a month or so later with a slight change to the route.
