I have the air con issue mate, been into two different garages now and neither can find a leak so they re gas it and then of course a month later it's knackered and blowing warm again!....going to leave it now, can't be arsed with the hope that it will stay fixed when i pay someone to do it so...
Might come along to this just for fun, not much point in going on the rollers though as my 182 will have already been on the RS Tuning rollers several times in the next few weeks ;)
Yeah but i'm thinking i should have taken out the huge bass box before i went :dapprove:.........i worked out that with me and the bass box there was an extra 35 kilos in my car compared to matt's :o
It'll be interesting to get it back there after it's all sorted and mapped and see what...
Not yet mate though i regained some power when i changed the Lambda sensor as the front one was white with silicon contamination, Paul at RS Tuning is back from holiday next week so i'm hopefully going to get it in with him in the next couple of weeks for some tests.
have a look at this youtube...
I had a zorstec custom system built for me last year, i love the sound of it as it has a much lower rumbling sound than say the yozza system but i think it is in need of a custom remap to mate the exhaust to the engine properly, it's going in to RS Tuning soon for some tlc and the remap as it's...
I would rather have the standard intermitent ones back, the auto ones have been nothing but a pain for me, i liked having control myself :)
If anyone knows how to bypass the auto setting i would love to know?
The sanitizer cans you get are fragranced so it makes the car smell really nice, you set the can going behind the front seat, put the climate control on the coldest setting at full speed (engine running of course), shut the door and leave for 5 minutes, job done :)
I recently used the halfords 5w-40 fully synthetic oil when i did mine, working great so far :)..........and came with a free professional screwdriver set..........to go with the other 500 screwdrivers i already have :o
Can't speak for the Ktec one but i have an aftermarket sports cat fitted to my 182 and it's perfectly fine, no problems with emissions light and it passed it's mot no problem :)
I found a solution to this that worked for me, i first tried someones idea of using ibuprofen gel but it doesn't work for long as this dries out too quick so i then came up with the idea of using clear silicone sealer on both the gel pad to sensor and gel pad to windscreen, works a treat...
I used the halfords one when i started to get a musty smell, it works perfect and 6 month on still no smell, i would recommend changing the pollen filter too though, when i did mine last year it still had the original one in :S
Oh right lol, a mate of mine came drag racing with me last sunday at york raceway and his 182 with a decat yozza was one of the loudest cars out there, they sound great on video but i'm not sure i could live with it every day :)
Yeah strange that about your times getting better as the day went on Matt, mine was a clear difference on both occasions now with the first run being much quicker than all the others, almost half a second, i do remember that when we did our runs on sunday my temperature gauge barely reached...
I just got these Alpine from Halfords mate, perfectly good upgrade from standard and won't break the bank either :)
