details details lol, traction abs and service could also mean a sensor fault, service just means it needs fixed, abs and traction both operate off the same sensors.
but like i say its guess work and a bit fruitless when theres one fast cheap way of finding out
when the ABS light is on it means its turned off due to a fault (I'm fairly sure)
i dont think its likely to be an earth either tbh, you could spend all day trying to guess but its really quite pointless, you need a diagnostic mate, many garages will do this free if you get the repair there...
i wouldnt bother messing about with switches and what have you, its easiest to just run wiring from the sidelights, it wont do any harm and is a bit more pro-ey imo
if it was me - id go to the scrappys, grab 2 sidelights bulb holders (push in type, same as clio) drill holes the right size in the rear of the fogs, run wires from the sidelights down there, bang! job done.
whilst your at it replace existing sidelights with LEDs, same LEDs in the fogs.
i...
the first point is a fair one as work is defo needed to adjust some bikers attitudes iv never denied that. though luckily im 25 so dont come under this particular point lol
but the rest of this just reinforces what iv been trying to say, that motorcyclists are much more vulnerable than car...
i know i said i was done here ,....but -
ian where are you getting those stats?
"Away must be found of targeting the other parties who so frequently cause
motorcycle collisions. Drivers have to be made aware of the numerous ways that
they can fail to perceive a motorcycle in the typical...
or idler/tensioner on timing belt, get it checked out! you can check the aux belt easily by taking it off and spinning/wiggling all the pulleys, listen for a dry noise on spinning and look for play on wiggling, either one means its fooked
if its screechy screechy though most likely just needs...
ye its back and to the left, you can take that whole bit off its just clips, the led is just pushed into a small black clip from underneath and its easily pressed out by accident. if you hang on 5 mins il put a pic up
for the socket, again that bit of interior is just popped in you can remove...
its weird if its working with the lighter clearly getting power, i sometimes have to twist chargers round a certain way to get them to work, have you tried keeping it pressed in and twisting it 360 degrees?
as to the wee hole, the only thing on mine like that is the red alarm LED
cant remember what the fronts cost but the rears are about 15 quid for the set, from a motor factors, changing them is easy defo less than an hours labour, 20 quid to a capable mate or 40-50 ish to a fair small garage
i think the fronts were around 30 but honestly cant be sure
only belt that can slip is the aux belt, open the bonnet and wiggle it up and down, shouldnt be any more than a quarter or so inch play in it, if theres more it needs tightened.
other than that could be a bearing in one of the idlers or other spining componenent, easy start is to check the belt...
im not going to argue with you anymore guys, go and ride for a day, youl feel different.
im a driver and motorcyclist, i give plenty of room to bikes and let them pass where possible, i think virtually every biker who drives will do the same, theres a reason.
thats a good point man, but im not trying to justify tailgaiting bikers, i was trying to point out that a car tailgaiting a bike is a lot worse than the other way around, and the only reason im doing so is to highlight the risk of deliberatly tailgaiting a bike round an island, not only in terms...
wow mate, first off as said im not violent and wouldnt kick someone in for road rage lol, also i dont tailgate? im pointing out that its not exactelly balancing things out if you tailgate a biker because your risking their life where as if they do it to you their risking minor damage to your...
