Noticed on mine that the graphics started to stutter a bit. Once every 10 seconds or so - went down to 9fps for the briefest of moments.
Downloaded nVidia Inspector and enabled Resize Bar globally - as for some strange reason the nVidia drivers don't always apply this, even when they say they...
Runs very slick on my system - a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with an RTX3090 at 1440 resolution.
It looks smoother than what DIRT 2.0 is in a number of places and I've not seen any evidence of texture pop-in yet either from poorly optimised draw distances, either.
I know this was mentioned in one of the other AC threads - but I thought it might be worthy of its own thread.
Early access of v0.1 has been released today and I have to say that first impressions are very good. It looks great, sounds good too - but the biggest plus point is the lack of that...
That is a good deal.
I just went for the bobby basic Amazon one with Mario Kart. £406 I think it was - which does make the Very one in comparison, good value indeed.
So, slightly random 'WTF?' moment on the motorway on Friday. Having not had a working cruise control or speed limiter for over two years (the dash lights are switchable - but that's it) - I thought I'd try it again anyway.
Switched on cruise, applied it and the display showed 72mph and kept it...
@E11OOT - have you had the uprated coil packs fitted to this as well? I got to be a dab-hand at swapping out the standard ones on a Phase 2.
Seems to be an integral part of V6 ownership!
A mate at work 3D printed these 8° wedges FOC for me. Actually surprised at how much of an improvement the angle feels, rather than being purely vertical.
Lowered the main section slightly, so it's pulled the wheel a little back away from me too. Feels more natural and comfortable now...
You mentioned about them bending - you do have to be careful with them.
I think I put a slight impression on one of mine, but I try to turn a blind eye to it! :P
Does it hunt about the lower revs when you pull up at traffic lights and the like, when warm?
Replaced both of the oxygen sensors in mine and that fixed the problem outright. Almost felt like it was about to stall at times, regardless of how cold or warm the engine was.
Looks like three clips per side mate, from when I did mine back at the end of 2023.
There's a small lug pin up towards the door end as well. I've added the part number photos of each strip if you needed to source fresh ones too?
Those clips are fragile!!
As above really - anyone know the part number of the foam section under the front footwell carpet?
Want to get a better/newer one to replace mine.
Cheers.
I had the exact same with mine - unfortunately, I cannot tell you what voodoo fixed them.
I had the bumper off and everything towards the end of last year. Different headlight units, pissing about with new replacement adjusters, everything. I think my patience (or lack off) just got the best of...
Worth given the fuse tray a once over while you're there too. Although mine was covered - crap still gets in there.
Gave all the pinouts a scrub with a small wire brush too. Some did have a little bit of surface corrosion on them - certainly did no harm anyway.
The battery is always my first suspicion when things like this start to misbehave. I had a new battery in 2020 and earlier this year I started noticing a few 'sluggish' things.
Five years a good run for a car battery IMO - and I cleaned up the terminals (and fuse connectors) alongside the new...
Cheers mate - did do the whole 'rinse & repeat' of drain clearing last week. Got a length of flexi tubing which I've found to be excellent at clearing out the central drain. Had the washer bottle out at the same time doing some general tidying up and the drain that side was definitely clear. Ran...
Thanks all. Got a dehumidifier here - I'll chuck that in over a days and nights.
Any ideas how it will have gotten wet in the first place? Heater matrix pipe leak possibly? Or could blocked scuttle drains do similar?
So, I’m addressing some of the water ingress in the front passenger footwell.
I’ve taken the sponge out (pissed wet through and sopping) - but noticed the backing on this brown sheeting section is very wet on the back of it. Press it and some drips run down.
Is it possible to remove & dry it...
Random trivia I recall from years ago with Corrados.
Had the windscreen replaced on my previous Punto GT. Was chatting to the bloke swapping the screen out and asked him what's the worst screen to replace.
He said "Without doubt - the Corrado. Absolute t**t of a job." It was a franchise he...
