Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Thanks for that. Just nabbed the one that @Marky_ mentioned above. They certainly look like the right ones.

    Ordered - cheers!

Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Innit indeed. Just while I'm here - does anyone know what clips go in the end of the wiper cover trim, as seen in @Matt Cup 's image below? One side of mine are knackered and the other side isn't great.

I haven't - but that's a mightily impressive 21-year thread bump. Hope someone does actually help you!

    Water getting in

It's an utter s**t design. Both the central drain hole being tiny compared to the two outlying ones and that bizarre rubber tube that has a flap on the bottom. It's almost like they actively want to encourage blockages over time. Definitely worth checking that area more frequently too. I've had...

    Cyberpunk 2077

The cyberware and the quick-hacks are definitely a lot of fun. I tend to use the System Overload one a lot as it's one of the few hacks that are not traceable and is ideal for outlying enemies that are unlikely to be detected whilst lying on the ground. Of course, even when you are detected...

Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Thanks all. Seems like it does 'look' like something should be there, but isn't.

Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Haven't really noticed this before, but the drainage trim at the base of the windscreen on the driver's side I removed this weekend as it was clogged with leaves, soil and other debris. There appears to be an equivalent area on the passenger side to have one too, but I have have nothing there...

    Battlefield 6

£30 for this 'upgrade'? Or bought outright with the vanilla game - pushing it to £90? Yeah, I'll wait 18 months for it to be £6.99 on Loaded..... ;)

    Cyberpunk 2077

Did restart it last night - ffs... :p Picked a female this time - one with the street scroats background. Purposely going ahead to pick each and every negative/evil answer that I come across. Effectively, she'll be a heartless b**ch. Also, will try to go down the melee path as I completely...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Completed it, mate. Finished off with Johnny keeping my body. Watched some of the credits at the end and realised that there are likely to be some countries with a smaller population than the number of staff that contributed to this. Crazy.

What have you done to your car today ???

I'm always impressed on how much slicker and better looking the front-end/windscreen area appears without the wiper assembly. :P

What have you done to your car today ???

Bloody central drainage hole was clogged again..... Cleaned it out and as usual, the water came out below. Didn't stink this time as it's not really been that long since I last did it. Need to disconnect the funnel section to check on the seal below as well. I take it that aside from the...

    My cheap(ish) 172 Cup

Yeah - as Matt says, it connect via four bolts to the subframe. Just a little elevation is enough for you to reach under and have access to all four bolt points - the front two being the easiest. I've got some small plastic shallow ramps - which only lifts the car by about two inches off the...

    My cheap(ish) 172 Cup

The centre one is just to the right of the mounting bulkhead for the wiper mechanism. I've got a clear plastic tube in this image leading down into it.

    My cheap(ish) 172 Cup

The left side looking towards the windscreen is the one I'm least familiar with. It looks a fair bit different to mine there? Easiest way to test is to get a bottle of water and pour some in - it should piss out behind your driver's side front wheel. The centre hole is roughly where that first...

What have you done to your car today ???

At first - I did think it was the external bracket for a CD changer to fit into. But there's no clips or mountings anywhere on it - so it must just be a kind of retainer to put stuff into. Seems a bit of a waste tbf - but it's not in the way, so I've left it there.

What have you done to your car today ???

Passenger under-seat storage thingie bracket thing. Never been removed in nearly 21 years. Thought I'd give it a once-over whilst hoovering the car at the weekend - only moved it because it was there. :P

    Guide: Washer pump/bottle removal!

Been there - done that. To the point that I bought a 2nd hand wiper mechanism and as I started to remove the one already fitted, it suddenly dawned on me what I had done previously. Dick.

    Guide: Washer pump/bottle removal!

While the wiper mechanism is out and/or washer bottle - I would further mention to check your drainage holes. If any of the three get clogged, you can run the risk of water build-up with any excess amount dripping into the front footwells. Easy enough to check that they are clear with little...

    Door card black sticky sh1t

What an absolute t**t of a job to put the door cards back on - never again! Seems like you have to have octopus arms to lift, pull, push and attach the door cards all at the same time - ever conscious that the 'one-time' application of fresh butyl tape is pretty much that. The passenger side...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah, that is annoying. I wish you had to manually select the jobs rather than it automatically picking one for you. Mine is at that stage where I get the warning saying that effectively its a point of no return and I can't do any side missions after it. Go away! :P

What have you done to your car today ???

Most of the areas that I thought would need greasing seemed OK - but I'm putting a little on anyway. Not like it can be detrimental, I don't think. Door cards going back on tomorrow as the weather is supposedly good, other than the crap wind & rain that we've had for the last several days.
