when do the clutches need replacing on 172's typically??(my car is 53 plate and gets driven pretty hard)....

so aux belt at the 36k then leave it another year for the cambelt?

is it right that you should have the belts changed every 5 years? i have only done 33k miles on a 53 plate so have a way to go untill the 72k mile service....

it just seems stupid - if the cars got alloys and you put new ones on , what you have to say now its got 7 spokes instead of 5 spokes?

i was under the impression you pay £000's more for a nice set of shiny new alloys when you tell ur insurer?

do ppl declare everything they do when putting aftermarket parts on their cars? i never have on any cars iv owned (i have always put alloys and lowering springs/shocks and induction kits and exhausts on my cars). am i more likely to have an accident becuase i have alloys and a better air filter??!

Yeh! i was also told to do the old leave one unplugged setup but after a days driving the emmission light came on. i used a diagnostic tool to switch it off but it came on again after few hours driving. tried plugging the second sensor back in and now it never comes on...! i think its...

i got a YS decat month or so ago....excellent quality and good rasp too mate! def get one - not too hard to fit if you got the tools. quick one about the lambda sensor tho...i tried plugging just the first sensor in and left the second disconnected and the light always came on after a couple...

i swapped my stock wheel for a sparco one and have the same problem mate - the thing is well noisy when turning the wheel (think its the airbag connectors). the wiring is so sh1t in these cars - proper flimsy... i just put up with the noise now...everytime i take it off to try and fix...

Found a site which is selling both Eibach Sportlines and H&R springs for around £140 which doesnt sound too bad... Everyone raves abou the eibachs but are H&R springs any good?? anyone got a set fitted and wots the drop like compared with the sportlines?

battlefield 2 is quite slow and choppy if you try putting any of the detail up high, i know its quite a demanding game, and also Company of Heroes is quite slow unless detail is on min-med settings.

my desktop has currently got an Nvidia Geforce 7300GS 512MB graphics card and im not sure if i should upgrade by getting another one of the same and use the SLI dual card setup or to just buy a better model and replace it.....was thinking either 7600 GT or 7900 GT?? any advice would be great!
