IMO they are a wheel that shouldn't look good.
The way they always look so small due to the spokes not going right into the middle and the decals make them look smaller.
But for some reason they do look good on slammed cars :S
30 mph in 5th returns 99mpg (off the scale) in a 1.2 so I am guessing similar in a 172.
But it may not work out economical when you are under an artic?!
Ok I take back about making it myself lol!
Although one thing I don't get is why it is so important to have a really heat resistant material... cars such as a clio consume well in excess of 3000 litres of air (if IIRC from a convo with stan* a few months back). Is this rapid flow of air...
I was thinking about making one of these today...
Surely they can't be that hard to make at all!
Looks just like a normal air filter, K+N or whatever, CAF and put in a metal box.
How hard can it be?!

Just had a think about this...
I know the code so if it isn't the same code then it isn't the same item.
Unless you can recode items to what ever code you want?
Yeah I should really mark the items in some way.
Sam
I wouldn't mind being able to do this.
The c**ts that owned (literally and metaphorically speaking) have stretched the handbrake cable to the extent it is pretty much useless.
Travels way to far...
Sam
Why should I have to though?
I can guarantee it was working when it left here. If it has been damaged on the way that's his fault as I said I'd prefer collection for this very reason.
How do I know he hasn't just swapped it with a fecked one?
Sam
The guy is saying it doesn't work.
It is the Renault Clio standard one.
He is saying it spits out discs but when it left me work 100% fine.
What should I do?
Sam
At the moment I have pipe attatched to the air intake bracket of the engine then the pipe runs to the front grille where the Induction cone is attached.
If I were to do two I would have one where it is now and then the other down near the fog lights.
Sam
lol - if only I had aircon....
Right ok, forgot about the radiator but when the air is flowing, presumabely you won't get any air from the radiator? It will all come from outside?
Sam
How would they lose power through heat soak though matey?
They would both be adjacent to the front grille so the air is going to be as cold as you can get?
Sam
Yeah I feed them to just behind the grille.
I would drill through twice on the base plate then weld on a bit of metal to which the other tube could attach.
Is there any advantage though?
