yep light come on when it gets dark, wiper come on when it rains and rear wiper comes on if its raining and i put it in reverse no probs with 16s and 60mm plenty have done it but just watch your front end on kerbs jes, i had 6 in the car including me and no scrapes on 17s with -60mm ....crazy

i suppose it just doesnt feel that slow, but if a 16v does it in 25secs then the 1.6 must be more by the way when i said mine was a plus the insurance was slightly more than the normal dynamique.

k-tec and prima getn the koncept kit from the same place surely?? they use the same promo picture, anyway im gonna nip over to prima this weekend so ill report back if the kits look ok as im gettin a set of skirts from there as they are the only place tht does them.

ihas mine over a year and was going to get a second hand 172 this summer but seen as this its quite nippy i can easily put up with it for another year, its not slow by any means does 0-60 in 9.3 so surely it can doe the 0-100 in under 25??

trying to convince yourself on this i see mate, the koncept is way to expensive it must cost about 5 quid to make.

right its sorted, turned out to be a 1.5 mm piece of aluminium off the spacers in the wheel. when the wheel had been put back on after the springs had been done it had been chipped off and got caught between the wheel and the hub. therefore the wheel wasnt sitting on the hub correctly...

any other ideas?? having the trackin done today.

yep had seen them but unsure of the quality @ prima too many bad reports. maybe ill pop over and see them first. by the way skirts renault supply arent the same as the 172 ones due to different wings on each car.

does anyone know i rang them earlier and some thicko on the phone had a prob with parts database or somethin. he was a proper doe doe. just want the ones to suit the non 172 remember someone posting a pic on here any info please post.

been out again and the steering actually feels a bit lighter than normal mmm strange.

yep tis a rumbly feel like the wheel is fighting to stay straight. wheres best to go an ats round the corner or somewhere that deals with mods to cars?

no i just changed the springs this morning, the wheels were balanced last month. the steering wheel just shakes from side to side.:confused:

it feelslike through the steering wheel that im driving on a pebbed/stoned driveway. i take it u dont have a clue either liam? how can it be fine -40mm but terrible @-60mm , confused.:confused: come on techys??

i just lowered my car again is was -40mm now its -60mm , i now have a case of the wobbles even at low speeds (30mph) its quite twitchy as well now. is it just a case of alignment or do i need camber adjustments? never had any wobble on the other springs untill reaching about a ton on the m1...

id say no cos p.i make different ones for the 172 go to p.i website and check the part numbers. p.i dont do 40mm, only 35mm-front 30 mm-rear or 60mm all round that s for non 172 anyway.

not got it yet but yes i think so full seats, they are different i know it i can see the handle now from one ive been in, it low down on the seat not on the top. damm is this gonna cause me probs or what.

is the unlocking mechanism at the top of the chair different on a mk1 172 to a 172 mk2? reason being i have just got a 172 interior for my dynamique but its from a mk1 clio 172 and mines a 2003 1.6 so the fitting will be different for the unlocking control. any help would be great.

i waxed my car the other day and it looked spot on, the weather has been good so its still clean but covered in dust form the carpark and road. it seems to stick to the car with static. i have an ani static cloth and duster thing but worried that brushing the dust may may scratch paint. any ideas?

front took less than a minute each not got rears yet but they look soooooooo much better.
