you'll not really notice it that much need to drop a gear now and then when before you didnt have to but not often, but the tramlining thats a different matter all the fcukin time

John ive got the pedal covers and a rivet gun much easier and cheaper than replacing the whole arms but i want to see
1. Which way up they go
2. Positioning of the covers on the pedal
Should only cost a few quid extra for a heavy duty one , sure i paid £35 for a Varta heavy duty one from National tyres with a good warranty - Your car sounds abit like mines before battery was replaced , and it was around this time of yar when the cold takes its toll on cars electrical systems

Oh sorry to hear that, think you shouldn't have bothered with touching up tho IMHO looks a mess , chips away did something like that on the old mans for £35 would have been wiser to do that and get a much better finish
You would be surprised , you may find that even thought the 1.4 has not got the same power because its modified it could be harder to insure and more expensive
