Well im very impressed tbh - just got a brand new windscreen for me valver fitted for £80!!!!! TOTAL! It would have been more but i noticed a little scratch on the new screeen so the bloke knocked off £20 appologised loads and then off he went - before he went he asked me to inspect what he had...

Ok, getting a little pissed off at work - im going to be selling my valver for 2200 and nobody at work seems to think its worth more than 1500!! When i tell them that Valvers are rare and fast they say it a bloody renault though - its annoying me now because i love the car - it looks cool, goes...

Do people tend to like modified clios more than standard ones? Mine is standard and i like it that way.................. thoughts? When i say modified i mean cosmetically.

Well i would be careful there - i heard that on a phase one if you decat it will stil pass its mot but on a phase 2 it wont and that came from BB tuning!

Thought i would see how much a new cat and down pipe would cost from renault as i wanted to keep my car standard - they quoted me just over £600 including fitting!!!!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Swines!

Go to renault - i did all three this weekend and the difference was fantastic- they are all dead cheap and very easy to fit - just follow the holy haynes bible and you will be fine!

Good job its under warranty - usually when they say leave it with me for a couple of hours they mean - im going to get Nathan our spotty 16 year dunce to have a look at it - in the process he will dent the bonnet, smoke inside the car, steal any money in it and put four new tyres and an exhaust...

Mine does 71mph in 2nd - standard! its been tested to that speed on may an occasion - however, therre is always the possibility of the speedo being a little off i spose!

A mechanic friend of mine helped me fit the new head to my valver and the cam belt and alternator belt etc. But it was done in his spare time so i never got receipts - do you think it would be possible to get him to print some for me? Is this illegal?

Ahhh, good, its just that i bought mine without a renault service book. However, there are loads of MOT receipts, some receipts for work done such as steering column and power steering pump etc. So i guess the fact that ive got receipts is better than nought!

So when you say it doesnt exist, does that mean that the person who has previously owned the car has NEVER had any work done to it? Arent you given a book when the car is purchased which the renault/garage that you take it to can stamp?

Why on earth would someone be so careless as to loose their service history? Surely its worth hundreds of pounds and should be seen as almost as important as the car itself! How/why would someone loose it? Are there ever any underhand reasons as to why service history gets lost?

Yeh, ure prob right. Ill get the sunroof fixed and the mounts and thats that. Still a nice example and has had lots of work done. Just havent got any service history!! Still, ill get what i can for it.

Right, selling the Valver in two months. Before i do this im having the following done. 1) Small bit of rust removed from one rear arch. 2)Front suspension mounts replaced. 3)Exhaust Replaced (full stainless) 4)New remote central locking sensor. 5)New electric sunroof motor. 6)New...

Just get towed to a mates house and then towed again to yours. Should do the trick! ;)

THE VALVER IS BETTER THAN THE RSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS THE WHOLE BLOODY POINT SURELY! ITS QUICKER, HANDLES BETTER, LOOKS BETTER AND HAS BETTER UNDERPNNINGS IN MANY DEPPARTMENTS. The Rsi is still a goodun tho before you go into Valver territory.

It does look nice in red dont it! Im based in Newbury, in Berkshire.....
