Ok, getting a little pissed off at work - im going to be selling my valver for 2200 and nobody at work seems to think its worth more than 1500!! When i tell them that Valvers are rare and fast they say it a bloody renault though - its annoying me now because i love the car - it looks cool, goes fast etc. Its on 100k had LOADS of work done full mot and tax, new tyres, belts, exhaust, sunroof, new head, gasketts - its tidy on the inside and the outside and is red - here is a pic - am i kidding myself with price or shall i go on a rampage of outright rage and destroy my office and wee in all the pot plants?

I sold my corsa sri on an L plate for 1500 quid, so your valver is more than worth the 2200 imho. Dont know much about it though, but it is a much better car than the corsa

Shes a beauty sir. Id have loved a red ph2 like that. Id say youd get £2k for it privately, maybe more. Trade in would hammer you and fetch about £1300-1500 Id have thought.

Personally Id hang on to it. Looks mint.

And for anyone in your office - 16v = proper old skool hot hatch, for 16v read Gti.
