Servicing and condition is all. Forget mileage to some extent - if anything, I'd be slightly suspicious of a car with very low mileage in thinking that the majority of components would likely to be OEM fit and need replacing in short order.
I certainly wouldn't be looking at a lower mileage car...
Thankfully - it had pretty much zero damage to the rim. I cleaned the alloy up and there was the smallest chip above where the gash on the tyre was.
Glad I risked it - but it could have been a lot worse!
Probably preaching to the converted here, but this is just a heads up of the limits of tyre integrity after damage.
My wife caught an object in the road yesterday and it slashed the outer wall of the tyre as seen below. She managed to pullover into a little layby and after calling me, I drove...
All these posts in this thread stating 'not to tell the insurance'. And why? Surely the whole point of having this legally enforced charge put upon us, is that when random s**t like what happened to the OP occurs - we have this pot that we've pissed into for several years (if not decades) to...
Really is interesting to read of small changes to the cars in different countries.
I borrowed a set of 15's for mine years ago and I actually preferred how it handled with them on - though admittedly it didn't look as good!

Managed to nab a 3070Ti from Scan this week having had a part alert popping up on Telegram.
Not quite the 3080 that I was originally after, more so that this 'only' comes with 8GB onboard - but it's close enough. Came in at £560 including delivery.
Takes up much less chassis space than my...
I can still remember the wow factor that came out with the original release of Monkey Island. Likewise with Day of The Tentacle.
Not quite sure that the humour has stood the test of time and its definitely full of 'Americanisms' - but they are still great games.
Would really like a revamp/new...
Yep - and again this morning.
Looks like the 3090Ti cards (so far) aren't as tricky to supply.
Or simply the fact that the near £1.9k asking price is just a little too rich - even for crypto monkeys.
