Ok, changed all wheels over made sure all spigots are tight and snug...
I am sure it is not the wheels that are causing the problem now.
It is a regular grinding when I turn the wheel, especially bad when I turn to the right. I can feel it through the steering wheel big time now as well...
It comes on with mine from time to time.
It stops it from starting often and when I do get it started its as if only one cylinder is working.
I can't get the car to shift above 20mph.
Then I stop it and it is often fine.
Not happened to me for a good few months now though.

Ok,
I think I might just go for it.
Unfortunately Maz I cannot put it in the lower grill as mine is an 02 reg dynamique so there is just a bar there instead.
Will put it in my upper grill, if it look rubbish it will be a good excuse to buy a sport grill :)
Yeah they do have fogs which is annoying in this instance...
My grill is a bit snapped anyway after a collision with a lampost so I don't have loads to lose.
Anyone else seen it?
Has anyone heard/seen/read about cutting a hole in the grill to fit a cold air feed for the induction kit?
Atm I can seem to find anywhere to locate my induction feed (I have a 1.2)
Thanks
My mate has this car, it is an S reg in blue.
To be honest I think it is nicer to drive than my dynamique.
Feels more torquey and the steering is heavier which I like.
Although it doesn't take corner anywhere near as well.
Still much better than the alternative, corsa B or saxo etc...
I reckon they might be 100 and 98 and me having them in the smaller holes means I have them in the 98 holes?
Although there does seem to be a big difference between the two PCD which makes me think maybe they aren't...
How do I find out?
Yeah bolts deffo in right holes...
They are multi fit and the bolts are in the holes that are closest to the centre as the other ones are for 108 I assume?
Unless this is the problem.
Could the other holes be less than 100PCD?
The thing that worries me is its a regular knocking... its...
Just fitted some 17s to my 1.2 dynamique...
To start with they were fine then after about 30 mins driving when I take corners (even slight bends) there is a knocking noise. This also happens with braking and even when I ease off.
What the hell is this?
Any help much appreciated?
P.S. I also...

Oh right.
Thanks for those reponses, imparticular about the F1 stuff.
I have fitted the alloys today to try myself, and I agree with whoever said the handling felt snappy...
I feel the grip is better but the margin for error is minimised. Also I feel the car lose grip round corners with...
I have wolfrace voodoo 1's.
Fred, are you saying then that the handling, cornering and all round performance would improve with 17 superleggeras over 15" standard renault alloys?
Would dynamique 15's be superior or inferior to the larger 16" 172s of the same style(the 5 spoke renault ones...
I think they will fit but not stick out enough.
May rub on the rear arches me thinks.
Some small spacers should do the trick though. you want the offset between 35 and 38. So you are looking at 5mm spacers.
Sam
Had the tracking checked?
If you have bumped a curb or pothole it may be knock the tracking out.
Most tyre places will check it for free and then 20 quid if you need it changing.
Wondered if anyone could help...
Thinking of fitting some 17" alloys to my clio 1.2 dynamique.
If we can park peoples views on the aesthetics of 17s to one side, I am just interested in the performance aspect (cornering, handling, straight line speed).
They are wolfrace voodoo's (205/40/17...
I will be she meets the following criteria:
1 - lives in nigeria
2 - she wants you to send the money to nigeria and she will then send you the car
3 - her grammar is awwwful
4 - the pope is more likely to turn to islam than you are to see this mini!
I have just bought some Spax coilovers but they are no longer adjustable. They need to be refurbished...
Anyone know anywhere that may be able to go this in east midlands on how much will it cost?
Thanks...
