How do i do it and what do i use? I've got an avi or divx file and then a small srt file that i'm guessing is the subtitles. What program do i use to burn them so that the subtitles are on the disc. I dont mind using SVCDs instead of DVDs

I've used AutoCad, pretty easy to pick up the basics and if you put the time in then it shouldnt be too hard to master. Depends what you want to do though

I went to look at a load of TVs the other day and all the plasmas looked crap for the football, really blocky and couldnt keep up. I looked at cheap ass Bush's right up to £2k+ Sony's and they all looked poor to me. Will it be any better with HD TV?

You can get firewire or USB 2.0 externals. Firewire is probably better imo, more stable. But i've got a 320gb USB 2.0 Toshiba, it was about £115 from www.scan.co.uk Haven't had a problem with it yet. I'm getting backup crazy though, tempted to get another external!
