Santa Pod is crap for times compared with York. Never done Crail, but York is a quick track. No difficulty believing a 14.6 from a Cup on a good track. Nice going paul g!

yup, problem with Cossies has always been.... I couldnt afford one :( Ill stick with Renaults, at least they leave me with enough dosh for food.

hmmmm....................... Cosworth wasnt a bad engine prep company, but high performance Renaults have always been more affordable than quick Fords.

Storage up front isnt bad, but its not watertight and it gets kinda warm in there because its just behind the radiator. Theres quite a bit of space on the shelf behind the seats though, can get a couple of wheelie bags, helmets etc in there.

Services cost about the same as a 172. If its tyres are worn new ones cost quite a bit. Clutches seem to be a bit iffy.

I get about 23 out of mine. You can have a lot of fun in a Vee, but go carefully if its wet! Its a perfectly good everyday car. I use mine for shopping every week by the way :D The only problem with shopping is the crowd of kids pointing their camera phones at your car when you come out of Tescos :p

I had a Magnex full system, lowered and 17"s on my 172. Cost £0 with tescos - brilliant.

standard 172 wheels do, so I guess cup wheels would.

if you put a picture of your car up in the media section, and if you ask veeerrrry nicely, somebody will photoshop the wheels for you.
