Pootling about at sensible speeds its much the same as the 2.0 clio, hit 6000 rpm+ in any gear and it develops quite a thirst. Its not too bad though.
Had my first dry day with it today- the grip in the dry is phenomenal :)
Since people are asking, here's the Japcrap. Aka "The Hornet". I know the yellow isn't everyones cuppa, but I think it looks amazing in the sunlight with the pearl flip.
Loving the power, although it is a little tail happy in the wet. Just need to get used to RWD again.
Very nice Adamski, very good handling I've heard.
Whatcha gonna do with your free time now you won't be replacing alternators, starter motors, heads, big ends, bushes, respraying etc ;)
205's will rub a bit on the front bumper bracket if you have coilovers, 195's are not so bad.
Contis are good for the money, but are a bit skittish in the wet. Pirelli Pzero neros are just as cheap and are grippier imo.
I just got my missus a Casio Exelim for 80 quid from Boots. It won the Gadget Show's "Best party camera" and has anti-shake, face recognition and all that shight. Supposedly shoots good video too.
Any tester worth his salt could've sat down with a calculator and worked out TOTAL overall braking performance in relation to kerb weight. Cups score about 65% which is a pass anyhoo. Plonkers.
As said, the apps take up very little space, but if you are going to cram it full of music and videos then the 16gb is the one. Otherwise the 8gb will suffice.
And Flick bowling is the best 59 pence youll ever spend!
I've just had my third MOT with no back seats, with the belts still in but no buckles, and a half cage, never had any issues. Depends where you go I think.
Jura MOT's in Woodville Street. As usual, it FAILED with flying colours for having no back brakes lol, and after the mandatory "cups dont have rear bias valve and have less than 5% braking force to the rear" argument, he eventually gave me a pass certificate. Every sodding year...... :rolleyes...
