Nope, old new - like big small ;) :quiet:
Need to try them out on track for a full on test - but they're very supportive. I used to have Suzuka's in the 182 which were crazy tight (i.e. drop yourself in and there was no escaping), these are a nice compromise. They also use the...
I think most people choose DOT4 because it lasts better (slightly less hygroscopic) than DOT5.1 and will be fine in all but a dedicated track car.
If you like changing it every few months, DOT5.1 would be a good choice.
Had these on my 182 and they didn't squeal once - get them installed properly and you'll be ok.
They also worked better than the OEM pads from cold. Once warm they were just silly..the car would almost endo.
I'll be getting a set for the V6, no question.
I got that R74 Samsung from Costco. Amazing quality picture - downside is it makes normal freeview look a bit compressed close-up. The sound is absolute shite so make sure you've got another home cinema setup to use.
Btw, Costco is £820 with a 3 year warranty. Most of the online offers are 1yr.
What? Why?? Other than the fact that if he works for Renault this particular car might be bought by someone on here, who gives two hoots whether he polishes it everyday, or drives the whole way to work in 1st gear?
I got a company car, and it doesn't exactly get the TLC that my V6 does  ;)
When I loitered around on the Zroadster forum, there was a lot of talk about the BMW 3.2 engine failing very easily when over-filled. Something to do with the oil being 'frothed' and causing problems. People were chatting about sueing BMW garages because of it. Perhaps there oil levels were way...
The only reason the Puma isn't there has to be because its a 'Coupe' not hatchback. Same reason why the V6 isn't on there - everyone knows that's the daddy but it's hard when you're classed as a supercar :rasp: ;) :p
I dribble like a geek when Forza 2 is mentioned - I can't wait.
GT4 may be alright, but Forza was easy to master without getting boring and Xbox live made it the most fun game in the world.
Sounds like your perfect car (well, for everyday use anyway!) I like them, good choice.
The Vee is really cool, loving the whole madness of it (again) and I've got a silly loud Quicksilver exhaust coming in the next couple of weeks, so they'll all be able to hear me coming ;)
