aii may have a bit of a re-style for next year though :) i was thinking contrasting bits in either pink, orange or kawazaki green
one point i was even thinking of making it into a sumopower themed clio
this is going to sound weird, the first time i went karting a member off here was scorching everyone he beat my best lap time by around 6 seconds, his done plenty of track time and the ring, the second time we went i'd spent hours on forza and was aiming for keeping up which i did and we were...
well ive been out today unfortunetely the one z they had in wasnt their as the manager uses it as a demo car but i gotta phone up and they will arrange a test drive for me :)
only shame is ive been trying to get insurance qoutes with my gf and lowest i can get is 2k, i'll get a grand back from...
costs about a grand to get done, take into the cost his spent on getting paint equipment, then his on about getting the outside sprayed at some point, could have just had the shell painted in a wild colour and all the engine bay etc would have been mint etc
as some may know im thinking on doing the swap next year, what are peoples thoughts?
either going to turbo my clio 300bhp but as we know gearbox isnt the best in the world, or i sell my black clio and hand my blue one back in and get myself a nice 350z get it de-restricted and it will do around...
i think you should have fitted the cage, had the shell acid dipped then sprayed would have been so much easier then buying all the spraying gear and throwing paint round i know its not easy to spray big areas in a garage
mines always a bit touch getting it into 2nd when its cold it prefers me to take it to 4k revs then change into 2nd every other gear i change at 3k but once its warm its beautiful :) im using silkolene pro race oil
k-tec run forged conrods so im assuming they've swapped them over the original ones, im gonna replace the bolts for upgrades to as they arent that expensive and still play a key roll :)
you'll find if you use intensive tar remover it will clean any leftover tar smears off the floor, and i hope you heated the tar up before the kids removed it unless you will have been the hours!!!
dint you email me it a while ago? i dont know if ive saved it or deleted it i'll have to have a look, doesnt the laguna use an f4r? atleast a haynes would give me a step by step well i think if not i'll have to ask edde kindly :)
lol ive just been reading through that! ive saved it all for reference help me make a list of things to do, quite a few specific tools i need!!!
still doesnt look over complicated just alot of attention to detail to make sure everything is correct, definitely hasnt put me off doing it :)
i was ready up appaerently forged crank have more give which is great taking more strain due to boost pressure?
i mean if the crank didnt need replacing i wouldnt have to rebuild the bottom end would i? e.g all the bearing and clearences and stuff that the crank lies on?
has anyone on here done this?
i really fancy doing this, obviously turbo it while im on so i'll put in forged crank, conrods and pistons.
thinking on getting a second engine i can strip down and build up in the garage i have quite alot of tools but i know theirs alot of special tools i need...
yea im already having the idea, if i could get some storage for my car i would have it totally stripped acid dipped and built back up it is an option im just unsre yet hence the wait till feb/march
its only a posibility at the mo depending on what i want to do if it does go it will be going in around feb march time wont really be getting used up till then
