My god! Your still running the standard front speakers, I threw those out as soon as I got my car home after buying it!!!!!
The standard fronts are 13cm, its easy to replace them with co-axials, you just wip the old ones out, cut off the connector and replace them with some spade connectors...
Your better off using an amp with an equal or higher RMS rating than the speakers, not vice versa. A bigger amp will be able to produce the same power as your current one while still working well within its own capabilities, therefore not producing distortion.

I dont think theyre TSW Avus R; they curve in a bit at the edges, the spokes on the pic go straight out to the edge of the rim.
On the subject of the Focus.I assume they didnt make it 4WD because theyve got that planned for the Cosworth (if it ever actually gets put in to production), anyway...

Same with mine, its barely noticeable though. Its about 5-10mm lower on the drivers side for some reason. You cant really tell unless you have a good look at the arch clearance on both sides.

Ive got some components ready for the front of my RT. I intend to amp them soon. What I want to know is how do you get the speaker wire from the car into the door? At first I thought the black rubber pipe that runs from the car to the door could just be pulled out and the wires pushed through...
I agree with James on what he said about Carnoisseur - the service is certainly the best that Ive found and you get a discount too.
James, have you got the -55mm springs. Ive been thinking about getting those for mine cos Im running -40mm at the mo, and with the 15s on it looks like the...

As Brun said, its the measurement between the two bolt holes at the bottom of the shock. You take the measurement from the centre of the two holes. As theres only 2 mm in it youve got to be v. accurate.

The problem is my current head unit only has one pre-out on it. I know Im going to get a new Head Unit in the future but I dont know when exactly. Would I be able to get away with using some RCA splitters if I wanted to use two separate amps?
Rick
OK, I want to use 1 amp to power my sub and my components. I keep seeing that you should ideally match the RMS of the speakers to the amp. Well, my speakers are 50W RMS and the sub is 125W RMS. Im not looking to spend too much more than £150, certainly not over £200.
Anyone got any suggestions...
I cant belive that, I wrote almost the exact same thing as you Nick about the Peugeot Cold air feed in the same post in the Discussion Board part at!!
Capt, I agree with what your saying about the Ram Air effect, but surely if you could surround the filter with cool air from the outside...
I saw something on the TV when they were showing the Rallying last week. They were talking to one one of the Peugeot drivers and in the back ground they had the bonnet popped on the 206 Rally Car. They seemed to have a very effective looking cold air feed for the air filter. They had a moulding...
alot of dealers will try to go for a quick fix without actually solving the problem.
As one of the other posts said, sometimes its out of your local dealers hands whether they can get the necessary parts or not.
My dad had a similar experience when he was trying to get a new company car ( a...
CCC consistently comes out top. It used to have more kit cars though which I like. They seem to be covering more production road cars now as well as the race stuff.
I thought the Corvette feature in the last one was quality. Couldnt help but notice the Max Farmer influence tho, did you see the...

Ive got Apex shocks at the back and KYB at the front. Its obviously a lot firmer than before but not uncomfortable.
If your just looking for a place to buy from then Id recommend Carnoisseur in Southend as you get a discount and the service is excellent.
Oh, and make sure that you measure...
Mines lowered about 45mm at the back, with 195/45 15 tyres.
It rubbed slightly on the offside rear wheel arch. This is due to the fact that it has a slight bend to accommodate a pipe that runs under the car. On mine I just jacked up the car took the wheel of and cut that bit out. Now it doesnt...
