probably a good thing i took the extended warranty....only had the car six weeks, last week air con packed up and now this brake problem, just have to hope problems will be covered by warranty...... strange though how it's done 35,000 miles in five years before i owned it and yet these problems...

could be air but the problem happened almost instantly, noticed it first after i drove over a few speed bumps (very slowly) then turned a corner, after that the pedal travelled further before braking.

checked it after half an hour and no leaks from anywhere, no fluid lost either, with engine off the pedal is solid

I had this exact same problem and i found a solution so here it is your air conditioning system works in such a way that bacteria can build up in the system and like all bacteria it won't go away unless you kill it,thats why you smell it most when you just get in, because the bacteria has built...

realized today that the aircon doesn't seem to be turning on in the engine bay or "clicking" on as some say, does this mean the relay has blown?.....if so does anyone know which relay it is please?......oh and i did the re-gas with the halfords kit but even when presurised it still didn't come...

ok cheers, just bought some air con cleaner and a bottle of regass from halfords, just got back from a long drive and the aircon did seem to work a bit so might just need the gas....i hope

there is a product for it, i did some valeting many years ago and it was just a liquid you pour onto a cloth, the tar comes straight off, no idea what it was called now though.......search ebay for tar remover, even if you don't use ebay it will tell you the name of it......unless it was just...

I know this has been covered so many times but i read most of the posts and didn't really find an answer so here goes...... last thursday air con got nice and cold when i was out for a drive......haven't driven it till today and there is no cold air coming through, i have removed the pollen...

F**ked air con as of today.......otherwise mint......oh and it might need some belts soon too:)

might as well go for the 182 full fat and get all the goodies that come with it, then if you want to go faster just lose a bit of weight......i've been in a mate's trophy and to be honest the ride was harsh as hell!......i'll keep my luxury packed 182 thanks
