Hello Gareth welcome to CS
I have a black/gold full fat 182, mine is in pretty much mint condition however there are still things to watch out for even with a good car, mine still has the original exhaust and it has been welded at some point by the previous owner to me so if you can get under...
Ok cheers mate, milltek seems to be a favourite on here, there's a meet near me on sunday so hopefully someone there will have one so i can listen before i buy....
Looks really nice mate, what exhaust do you have on there? and is it loud?....mine still has standard fit but i'm looking to change soon, i don't want anything too mad though, need to hear myself think still!!
oh and by the way if you want to put full pics inline with your messages then just move your mouse over the pic in photobucket then under it you will see a drop down box, go to the IMG code and highlight it then right click and copy and all you have to do then is paste that straight into your...
Hello mate, welcome to CS
There's nothing wrong with dreaming about owning Lamborghinis......but to be honest after a while all that power just becomes so boring that i prefer driving the 182 :)
My warranty letter didn't say anything either except that they confirm my warranty was in place, whatever that means!.....but i do know they have limits as to what they will pay out on, some won't pay out on suspension parts because they say it's wear and tear......things like that, once you...
it does still depend on the smallprint which they don't always give you until you claim, best thing would be to contact them and explain the situation and see if they will cover all or just part of the claim.

Hi Matt
could you explain about the polarity thing for me?, is it something easy to check?, i'm sure when i wired the new speakers i put the wires the right way round but as they're not the obvious black/red then i may have got it wrong?, strange thing is that i have never had this before in any...
I installed a sony head unit into my 182 shortly after getting it and then upgraded from the standard front and rear speakers, 120 watt sony in the front and jml 140 watt in the back, now this is almost the exact same set up as i had in my land rover before getting the 182 and it sounded pretty...
Looks really nice mate......good job.
Full Fat all the way :).......now if only we could stop flies headbutting the paintwork our cars might stay looking this way!!
Usually yes you do, the insurance companies see any modification as being a more enticing prospect for thieves and so they want you to pay for that extra risk.....you would be surprised at the smallprint too, even an external aftermarket sticker however small is technically a modification :S
Well done mate, nice magazine column and impressive mileage on the 172 also, hope mine's still going strong by that mileage, i worked out that doing my annual mileage i will hit that mark in the year 2059 :)
