great thread, i dont think pumping the throttle does anything as its not connected to the throttle anyway. i think all the choking is automatic these days. think the throttle pedal only get swtiched on a second or 2 after ignition. or maybe thats just my car.

mines running 300bhp now. i just slipped a few more turbos in before my dinner. what other mods should i do

also mud. when i get mud in my car it smells awful or even grass!! but then im the only one who goes off roading in a clio.

ok theres a new throttle on so i guess that rules out 1 whats the other 2?? the looms had some mods because of some recall my car never had. is there anyway to test these sensors to see if they are fualty??

its a 1.4 16v not exactly manly. its also not reliable at all. although at least i got a sunroof!!

lots of alarm codes. think its mainly the throttle loosing its poistion, theres also an exhaust mapping sensor. also a engine coolant alarm it turns the throttle off and goes into limp mode, which cant be cleared untill i restart the car.

i've always been on about doing this, but with cup wheels. -60mm springs and shocks are £250 + turinins are expensive i just lost out on a set without tyres for £350 on ebay. mk2 172 alloys look good especially if powder coated. and they are £150 + with decent tyres on, but i guess...

a throttle body. u mean like a replacement or throttle bodies?? i have a spare replacement.

my ignition coils smell when they melt and thats under a plastic engine cover, i guess if u have one of them, it would smeel near the throttle body.

yeh i get that but not without the ignition light. it something that brings that one up i changed 2 coils last saturday.

Still having problems with my car, i need to locate the sensors that bring up the iginition and engine management lights. i just went on a diagnosics website but it says theres a temp sensor at the back of my engine but i cant find it, theres just the air box there. my cars the 1.4 16v...

looking at the background, u need to get some lexus lights firstly or people will laugh at you. then sun strips followed by 100% tints. why not get some 19" chrome spinners on there too. or you could just leave it lookin good!!!
