My gearbox needed to be removed on my old V6, so I asked them to put a new clutch in at the same time. They didn't mention about the engine being dropped out, but then again, I didn't ask.
Actually a dodgy road conditions verdict would be more helpful. I have heard they're great on the track, and considering the PE2's are good in the wet, I'd like to know how the parada's fair in comparison.
Cheers.
Don't want to make you feel worse, but mine is much lower on the same springs too.
I agree with the improvements they make. I was concerned that they'd feel too crashy, but they're spot-on for tightening up the bodyroll and handling without trading too much comfort.
No offence, but it doesn't sound like you're that interested in the results, but more how much you'd get selling the setup on ebay? Just seems a bit strange, isn't your number 1 priority to get more power from your Clio?
That's assuming your using that extra performance available though. If the guy who posted this is a fan of high mpg figures, he's probably driving steadily, and the engine should be more efficient (require less throttle open).
Yes, 270 is XP. I passed 290 today too...yipee! Got to do 291 next and tbh I understand about half of it!
I've been 'properly' studying since August, i.e. on average about a couple of hours a day. I could probably have got that down to one hour of very relevant material, but I didn't want to...
...and we can't have that sh1t in a performance car can we! ;) Just remember Ross, its cheaper to rip stuff out than put it in.... and then the perspex windows... yes yes, it would be criminal to stop now!
What, Hong Kong Hotties? quality line that...didn't realise it were you! ;)
Ross, your neighbours will now wonder why that mobile shed is missing from your front garden ;)
You have a LOT of driving to do to make up for this time off....starting with the 'ring! (or perhaps the '660 ;))
I think the '98 ron' minimum for the Clio RS is total arse-talk. They know full well that most countries in the world don't sell 98ron fuel as widely as 95/97. I've never had any issues from running lower-ron (that's 95+) fuel in any standard cars. That's included M3 3.2 and Clio 182 which both...
I am in the middle of an MCSE (did my XP exam 2 days ago.....and passed. ;)) and I would recommend something web-based. The books seem to be a bit long-winded....although I haven't seen the one you've mentioned.
Hope you've got a lot of self-motivation....! Good luck. :)
^^^ Because Michelin are a$$holes and feel they can charge more than anyone else for the same thing. Having said that, PE2's are very good, probably thanks to having the clio in mind when they were designed.
Have you thought about Yoko Parada's? Not very popular (for clio's), but a few on...
