hopefully if i get chance this week i'll be taking all the little screws off with some cutting device, next job is to start working on the door cards - wing mirrors and wiring and get it booked into motoscope for fitment of 2 things, i'll try and find a pic with some hint of whats happening

they were corbeau tillting frames but i did some modifying to them removing the tilting and the mounts then drilled holes into the subframe that was left positioning the side mount brackets at the right width for the seat to slot into, as you can see im going to remove the bushes the subframe...

got some camber going on with that ns wheel ;)

your looking at a space where the air bag control unit used to be underneath the centre console,plus the cigarette lighter power supply, and abit of chassis lightening :)

hmm thought i may aswell just start a thread so i can add updates as i go along like ben so here's 2 pics from today after removing the air bag unit and all the wiring along with it, plus a few little other bits with associated wiring. second pic is = BANG and the is gone :) NO COPYING...

well after all the resonse i seemed keyed up to do it lol bang! and the unit is gone (and all of the wires) and who said anything about a light?

i would give the graphics a miss, maybe white mirror covers but get the rest of the mirror colour coded rb and the stripes are a must

there's a mk2 v6 thats in this years rallycross it was at croft a couple of moonths back, its white and its a proper v6 not space framed and that was real quick and sounded immense

right where do the wires lead back to from the air bag control unit thats under the centre console? I'm just on removing more stuff and there only seems to be the handbrake sensor wire, 12v cigarette lighter wire and the clip key. i just wanna know where the wires for the control unit lead...

fred sucks :) and abs is for gays i've only locked the car up twice in 2 years and both occasions its been on purpose!

plus the laquer is smoothed on a carbon bonnet to a smooth finish so it should be no problem
