I can get the bit for less than £100 so will probably be worth it! ive had head work done, so this did seem like the next logical step to me, but I thought I would ask the experts on here.
As the title suggests really, is it worth spending cash on? Im sure someone once told me that this is where the 182's get their extra power from?
I can get one reasonably cheap, but dont want to waste time fitting it if i wont gain anything.
i was in my truck when i saw you, clio is sat on the drive. i had to limp home fom the meet on thursday as coil pack is cracked and i only have 2 cylinders functioning.
you'd spot me from a mile off ive got the day glow orange badges!
By the chip shop in park gate. I think you may be on here, ive seen your car around loooooads!
and i think you were at the Krispy Kremes meet last thursday?
Have you tried cleaning the throttle body with some brake cleaner?
if you need throttle body or pedal i have one of each. mine was doing the same thing, i tried them both but they didnt work. renault have now put it down to a "wiring fault" which needs to be traced. deep joy.
PM me if interested.
does anyone know where i can get a wirning diagram from? or is it dealer only? I have teken my car to local stealer, they say it has a wiring fault, which is causing it not to start. This is all they have told me. I think it is in the throttle pedal/throttle body system somewhere, but could do...
If your a technical head then you might be able to help me; apparently (according to snap on diagnostic machine) the "throttle valve position sensor" is at fault. I have changed throttle body, all the relays, fuel pump and cleaned the crank sensor out of desparation. any ideas?
Any help very...
mine was awesome, an absolute sleeper. ran approx 170 brake, used to surprise a lot of people. slam it on its arse in standard form even and youll give pretty much anything a run for its money through the twisties,
Except a Cup, which dominates all.
buy an old skool corsa gsi if you can find one. youll find an average one for about a grand. then in a years time spend £500 on a C20XE lump and go civic type r baiting.
much fun
does the pump on my Cup differ from the rest of the Clio models? I need a new one and was hoping to get one from the scrappy, but dont want to waste money if it wont work.
