How much is it pulling?
It should pull a touch under light acceleration, and it will depend on the camber of the road.
Under hard acceleration I get a fair amount of torque steer in that general direction.
You've only just got the Cup, well not long ago!!
But I know what you mean about speed, that's why the Focus ST etc just hasn't done enough for me.
Think it might have to be an STI next, but not just yet, can't afford the insurance!
The only thing you need to know about Mk2 172s is that most of them come in silver! lol.
There were no cup packs for the 172s, they were only available on the 182s.
I'm just not a fan of black wheels, defo not on black cars anyway.
And the chrome rim bit just makes it worse; fast and furious style :(
IMO of course.
It was actually better to add my gf on the policy who is 23 and only driving for a year with a claim worth £4k than it was to add my Mum or Dad who are both in their 40s, with no points, claims or anything.
Crazy, but there ya go!
People have had problems with Elephant in the past, no one seems to rate them as a decent insurance company.
My arguement is no insurance company is decent :o
I think the red is very nice!!
Why is he so keen to sell it on then?? The cat d business would worry me.
The price seems great though, only another 4k!
I'm suprised Tescos took you on with that many points! I was under the impression that insurance companies didn't like taking people with more than 6 points.
Mines £750, was 23 at time of renewal, with gf on insurance (driving for 1 year with a claim).
I've got 2yrs NCB and no points, etc.
That's with Elephant, I know people will slate me, but it was a lot cheaper than anyone elses price!
Keep the cup, maybe spend some cash on suspension, maybe a trip to GDI.
I wouldn't blow 5k on it though, you won't get it back, I'd like some decking etc for the back garden myself, amongst other things :)
