Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
Would a coat of glue help absorb vibrations, as once the ecu is put back together there should be not contact from other moving parts and only vibrations which could cause problems
Good comment, Ive never owned or experienced 888's so speaking what ive heard
What about fitting polybushes and ktecs stiffer mounts to give a tighter feel to the car
I like it apart from the clio badge at the rear, perhaps if that was black then the diamonds front and rear were orange
Then black bullets with orange letters
depends how much you like to rev your engine and if you can justify the extra cost of stiffer mounts.
Could also be worth checking the gear linkage for wear as this will cause a sloppy feel
Give them a sand instead of the scotchpad then apply more laquer, leave for a day to harden the buff up with a polish.
T-cut is good as its very abbrasive and should bring up a nice glossy shine
scotch pad will make them go dull
Also leaving them in cold temps to harden wasnt a good idea
Id giv it a light rub down with an 800 grit then re laquer during the day then bring inside for the night to harden
