I intend to make/have made to metal grills for upper and lower mate rs grill is to common
Will be painting them in ford mercury grey its a metallic dark silver, very nice colour.
And colour coding is on the long list I'm trying to work my way through :)
I kind of wish it was a van
I do love turbines perhaps when I return these I'll sell them on for a bit more and llook in to getting some turbines :)
I want it proper scraping just gotta get the.money together for coilys spacers and then wheel alignment, tracking and cambet bolts x
Update is here, well a half arsed one at that as it isn't complete:
anyway I put some road legalish pressed aluminium pressed plates,
some oz f1's in need of a refurbishment but that will happen when I'm in my new work shop (well really big shed) but its cool, here are the pictures anyways :)...
You'll never match that colour you're self mate, *trust me i've tried, the base coat will be fine its the blue on top which is a pain mate.
Best for a body shop to do it, if you want very smart results, personally i think some renault wheels would be better than them tsw's
good luck though...
get everything you possibly can out of the car before the run, do it on a cold damp day on a good dry track. thats when you'll go fastest :) *don't expect it to make a massive difference but maybe a bit
whats ppi? and sick mate, if you want an economical car you'll find dci 60 or 80 will be cheaper to run day to day than you're car, 100 is best ;) (i have one) but more expensive to run.
insurance isn't far of either bud! do it!
DCI power is the way mate, you see you get alot from them because you can ramp up the boost pressure when remapping..... however you're petrol you likely to not gain anything just a bit better reving maybe...
200 pound to save towards a more powerful car ;)
Cheers Bro :), its not there yet though plenty more to be done!
Thanks :)Been booting around in it for a while, will be more recognizable with the oz f1's and pressed plates :) what you driving?
cheers bud, properly appreciated :), Seen a silver dci same year and everything personally...
Bit slow on updates, OZ F1'S soon to be fitted plus some road legalish pressed plates on the way :) should look much better.
Also just had a renault oem drive shaft fitted due to a snapped abs ring.
Will update soon :)
for the value of the car just sell it on quick mate, brake it?
i made the mistake of fixing a car that wasn't worth it mate. aint worth it.
Or keep the car for parts :P
