Looks sick mate :), engine cover came out really well i must admit, i need to catch up and stop being so dam lazy got a list a foot long of stuff to repair paint clean wax and polish on my car lol!
i'm putting vmaxx coilys on my dci within the week or two so will give you a bit of review on them soon.
Don't go for apex, sick stance horribly uncomfortable and i only realised handling improvement at high speed because theres less shake and wobble.
I drive a dci but the principle is the same
I did have the tools, turns out the bolts i was given with the kit are about 3mm to short. See mines a DCI100 although after market companies will tell you the anti roll bar bushes and the bar its self are the same, they are not. The antiroll bar is thicker and requires longer bolts.
Having...
Spark plugs and.Leeds. it doesn't do it when reving because you'll have a more lively spark the.
That's what I think anyway, take them out and check the gaps.
Well yesterday track rod ends, all nee anti roll bar bushes( middle ones are a b**ch ) then left the ignition on let battery flat by accident.
Realised its an 8 year old original battery so today put a new one in :) happy days
I had thought of that mate, there brand new rubbers and top mounts :( spring seems to compress and move a little to easy on this side compared to the other.
will strip it down tomorrow, put standard springs on and see where it sits then. hate my car sometimes... cheers boys
edit: springs are second had so not sure, but are seemingly in good condition
drove out my workshop down the road and all of a sudden the drivers side suspension was really low as if a spring had snapped at the front.
Took it back to the workshop jacked it up, and the spring hadn't snapped. its an apex 60mm lowering spring and it now has movement in by the seems of it...
I was doing deliveries in my dci for a while, alot more mpg but still the money really cam in handy. easily 10 to 20 quid tips a night as well :) plenty of money to be made
Didn't realise .... Dohhh ! It came up in related threads at the.bottom and I'm on my phone so didn't even think.
Threads over a certain age should be locked I think.
Sorry guys
I'd do them for 40 pound a wheel there's a set I done just the week before with pictures up up if you want to see. Although I don't powder coat them.
I'm in Northamptonshire I can post back to for an additional 30 pound if needed :)
Very thoughtful off you mate, appreciated and err i'm looking for the whole set :)
I'll have a look at them tpi polarised ones now :P cheers.
