looks like a technical issue. others that work here arent having problems.
and blocking google would need an ounce of techincal knowledge. something the dept dont have.
we did get upgraded to office 2007 the other day mind.
Out IT dept are all above 55.

Google will not work on ANY browser.
Every other site works fine if the address is input into the browser itself, but Google won't work. Nor will searching into the address bar of Chrome.
Any ideas? I'm on the verge of insanity/throwing the pc out of the window/drinking coffee.
If you mean machine polishing pads mate then yea you can.
Rinse them with warm water under a tap. Use a few pea sized drops of fairy washing up liquid and 'work' it into the pad with your thumbs (whilst still running under warm water).
When the water runs clear, squeeze them out until they dont...
When things are not open, they are not running (anything apple related anyway, some of the 3rd party apps still do)
You don't need to "drag" them out of there either. Just hold until they wiggle, the remove.
